Ron Di Salvio is a true twenty-first century Renaissance man. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1946 he began his musical journey at the age of eleven learning the accordion with Alexander Matos. At sixteen he studied jazz piano with Lennie Tristano. A self taught composer, Ron’s piano trio performed in numerous jazz clubs in New York’s Greenwich Village in the late sixties. He shared the stage with Sonny Rollins, Art Farmer, Joe Henderson, Jimmy Cobb and Enrico Rava.

Ron is Music Director of the United Methodist Church in Marshall, Michigan and serves as adjunct professor at Kalamazoo College teaching improvisation, composition and theory. Ron is an Origin, BluJazz and Meadow Run Music recording artist. He is author of DELTADIATONICS and introduces a universal chord symbology for the 21st Century.
