Listen to the Music!

Peter Link’s Sweet Purity is a tenderly melancholic reflection on the innocent mindset of childhood. As life presents us with obstacles year after year, it can be easy to lose sight of the simple wisdom we were unaware we had as children. But sometimes, reminiscing about our younger, purer selves can remind us of truths that have been forgotten. This song is from Thru Me, a compilation of favorite songs written over the last twenty years which was produced, orchestrated and sung by Peter. Taken from both his work in the theater and from his own personal experience, the styles range from theatrical to pop. 1. Peter Link and Julia Wade are stalwarts on the wall, thinking every day of all that is inspirational that they can bring to us!
Watchfire Music is a destination one can turn to each and every day for a word, song or instrumental offering, from the heart, which hopes to give light to our path.
“Sweet Purity”, is a reminder of where our greatest gifts, peace and revelations lie, within!
Thank you, Peter Link, for letting this song come through you from the great architect of our greatest gifts, peace and revelations, our Father, Mother God!
    Beautiful vocal.

    Jenny Burton

    1. Thank you, Jenny, for always being one of our most loyal supporters. Thanks for your kind words.

  2. So sweet and beautiful! Got me to the place in the deep beyond “me”. Thank you!

    1. So glad to hear it, Sharon. I guess that’s the point of creation.

  3. I absolutely loved this. I, being ignorant had no idea that you sang too. (I don’t recall Julie ever mentioning that you sing.) Your voice was perfect for this song…go figure! It really stirred those feelings of sweetness and innocence! What a joy to listen to this morning!!

    1. Thank you Sharon. As to being a singer, no, I have never considered myself a singer until recently. Though early in my career I was, the joys of composition and production were more fulfilling to me to work with. Also I had the great pleasure of working with some of the finest singers in the world for many decades and singing my own songs just seemed pointless to me when I had the pick of so many great singers around me. Lately, the crash of the music business and consequently ridiculously low budgets to work from have required me to go back to being that singer that I always ignored. So i went into training and now maintain a daily regimen of practice and preparation. I enjoy it; and perhaps you might be interested in my new album, Remnants, sold on, Check out that one and also Thru Me, an album I did about a decade or so ago. Anyway, you asked, so I promote. :o)
