Listen to the Music!
As our love-themed selections wrap up for this last week of February, we close with the joyful, happy love inspired by God in us all, with Julia Wade’s Spanish language song Soy Feliz, or I Am Happy. These familiar sentiments take on a fresh meaning when heard in another language, and fellow Watchfire artist and guitar virtuoso Chieli Minucci‘s acoustic playing, along with some subtle Spanish-themed instrumentation, adds just the right seasoning to this multicultural flavor. This song is from Julia’s Spanish album Alabado sea Dios, a collection of gorgeously crafted sacred Hispanic songs from around the world sung passionately by Julia. We are also happy to introduce filtering by Spanish lyrics for both our digital sheet music and recordings collections, which you can peruse by clicking the following two links:

Spanning diverse musical styles, Julia Wade has performed nationally and internationally as a concert artist, as well as in opera, cabaret and musical theatre, including The Rome Opera and Carnegie Hall.
As a recording artist, Julia is truly at home in the studio with no less than 14 solo CDs under her belt . The 14th is her new Christmas CD, “Julia Wade and Friends,” including classics each done in a new and original way – solos, trios and quartets.
