Mary March farms and ranches with her husband deep in the heart of Texas. Her love for God and the land accompanies her passion for music. The songs Mary writes reflect a rich rustic heritage that celebrates the beauty of prayer through song. Most of Mary’s music is country and bluegrass oriented, but she also has a feel for Contemporary Christian music.

Mary states, “The farm and ranch life provides a great environment for writing songs . I feel closer to God when I’m surrounded by the land. Many of my songs were written during many hours of driving the tractor.”

Mary qualified for the Finals in the West Texas Talent Contest in 2012. Her songs have played on independent radio stations in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. She has opened for a local big-name bluegrass band (The Batten Family) in 2013, performed at various festivals in Texas that included some top bluegrass names, in and has played with some of the best bluegrass and country players in and around Texas.

Mary plays at churches, (including cowboy churches), festivals, events, bluegrass gatherings, cowboy gatherings, and other venues.

Audience and Press Reviews

  • Mary March is the real deal. She takes her love of God, her country life, authentic farm and ranch living, and simple but deeply meaningful thoughts, and puts them into song. Mary's music is such that when I need to hear an uplifting spiritual message, I play her CD. That says it all, right there.
