The Sound of Soft Stillness

The sound of soft stillness, the voice of the Divine,
Speaks when we listen and pray to have one Mind.

No chaos of storm, no fury of fire
Imposes its terror on the heart’s pure desire.

If we truly seek God’s tender care,
We have but to listen to find God right there.

The sound of soft stillness, the voice of the Divine
Guides us and guards us; we are governed by one Mind.

No need to be fearful, no need to strive.
God’s work is complete so we can’t be deprived

Of God’s goodness and power; it’s right here to see
As we claim our dominion over mortality.

The still small voice of Spirit speaking to mankind,
With the voices of God’s angels, the substance of one Mind.

They heal and inspire; they show us the way.
We have but to follow, to trust and obey.

The sound of soft stillness, the voice of the Divine
Speaks when we listen and pray to have one Mind.

The still small voice sent from above,
Brings us God’s goodness and His perfect Love.

The sound of soft stillness, the voice of the Divine
Guides us and guards us; we are held in one Mind.
