Arise Be Free
Look down, on the ground is a little dove. Is he wounded or is he just too young to fly? A friend of small birds lifts him to the fence rail high. And she still keeps a caring
and watchful eye. Look there, he is still waiting up on the fence. So she holds him in her hand and she tells him to fly. Fly, fly, little bird, you were made by God to fly! And
he freely lifts his wings and flies into the sky. Look up, O my soul, for the same great God making little birds to fly, keeps you safe in His fold. You never were wounded nor
too young nor too old so arise O my soul, be free and be bold!
