Awake, O love, catch fire within my heart, Awake, Awake, O love. Melt fog and shadow, fill my need, reveal faith’s living substance in my every deed. Through dust and
shadow, fear and doubt, reveal, reveal God’s purpose to my waiting thought. Beyond the prideful hills of mortal thought, hidden by smoke of human art, God’s purpose for
man waits forever, afar and yet within each heart discovered in the sheepfold of obedience and patient service in another’s field; a sudden flame, as sunlight to the sleeping
bush. And when I listen for God’s message, I see, I see the way now, near and clear; As God sent Moses at the burning bush, the great I Am sends me to you, to show, to
show God’s love in Christly works and ways. Awake, O love, catch fire within my heart, Awake, Awake, O love.
