$0.99$6.95

Words from the Bible. Music by Katrina Wylie. Copyright 1999. A lush and powerful biblical story solo starting with Jesus calming the storm and moving through some of his sayings to illustrate the message of faith. A good solo for a large voice although there are also plenty of quiet and peaceful passages.

Faith
( Luke 8: 22-25, Mark 4: 40, Matthew 17: 20 )
Music by Katrina Wylie

Now it came to pass on a certain day that Jesus went into a ship with his
disciples and said unto them “ Let us go over unto the other side of the lake”
and they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep. And there came a
storm of wind on the lake and they were filled with water, and they came to
him and awoke him saying, “Master, master we perish. Master, master we
perish.” Then he arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water
and they ceased, and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto
them, “Where is your faith? Where is your faith? Why are ye so fearful, how
is it that ye have no faith?” And they being afraid wondered, saying one to
another “ What manner of man is this? For he commandeth even the winds
and the water and they obey him. “Where is your faith? Where is your faith?
Why are ye so fearful, how is it that ye have no faith? For verily I say unto
you if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed ye shall say unto this
mountain remove thee hence and it shall remove, and nothing shall be
impossible unto you, nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
