Seven Synonyms For God

Be Still and Know
Music by: Robert Collister
Words by: Rosa Maud Turner

When clouds are hanging low and drear
And earth’s illusive mists are near;
When tempest torn our way and dim,
Let thought awake and rise to Him:

Lift up the heart in faith above,
Be still and know that God is Love.
Lift up the heart in faith above,
Be still and know that God is Love.

When in the wilderness we roam,
And far away seems God, and home,
The valley’s shadows fearsome, near,
The road we travel dimmed with fear;

Lift up the thought above the sod,
Be still and know that Love is God.
Lift up the thought above the sod,
Be still and know that Love is God.

We need not cry with anxious fear,
Nor restless, pace the pathway drear;
We need not doubt, though clouds are grey
Sunshine will chase them all away;

And from our hearts the gloom will fall,
Be still and know that Love is All.
And from our hearts the gloom will fall,
Be still and know that Love is All.

Lift up the thought above the sod,
Be still and know that Love is God.
Lift up the thought above the sod,
Be still and know that Love is God.

Christ is Risen
Words by: Joan Collister
Music by: Robert Collister

It was early in the morning
Of the first and final day.
Alone Mary ventured near his tomb
And heard an angel say.

“Seek ye not Jesus here
For behold he is not dead.
Christ is alive and walks among you
It was done just as he said.”

Chorus
Alleluia, Christ is Risen.
Alleluia, Christ is Risen.

Moments later we beheld him
While fishing by the sea.
He called us his disciples
And said come dine with me.

There he taught us the final lesson
That takes away all fear.
Life overcoming death,
Can be demonstrated here.

Come Home to Me

Words by: Joan Collister
Music by: Robert Collister

Peace and joy belong to thee.
Just take my hand and come home, child, with me.
We will soar o’re time and space;
Feel my love, accept my grace.

There is not a thing to fear.
I am your God and my angels are near.
They will guide you through the night,
Leading you into the light.

Awake from the dream that lulls you away
Into a false sense that leads you astray.
It is Truth that will save you from evil’s false claims,
That dress in sheep’s clothing and come in my name.

There’s a place not far away
Where we hear laughter and music all day.
We will walk upon the wind,
And you won’t be sad again.

You are the image of me.
You are perfect, upright and free.
Little beams of living light, pure in my sight;
You will dwell in my heart for all eternity;
For all eternity.

Peace and joy belong to thee.
Just take my hand and come home, child, with me.
We will soar o’re time and space;
Feel my love, accept my grace.

Children, please, come home to me.

Gifts That Come From Above
Music by Robert Collister
Words by Joan Collister

Wisdom, knowledge, truth and duty.
Listening, hearing help in all that we say.
Kindness, giving, trust and healing.
These are gifts that come from above.

Patience, mercy, health and virtue.
Meekness, sharing give us grace every day.
Friendship, children, home and fam’ly.
These are gifts that come from above.

Chorus
Just believe and know that you will receive
All the good that you desire.
It is faith that leads us to the light,
Where we gain all that we will require.

Courage, action, might and power,
Freedom, justice, guide and guard us each day.
Laughter, humor, joy and music.
These are gifts that come from above.

Chorus

Heaven, oneness, life and victory,
Being, wholeness teach us how we should pray.
Angels, rainbows, peace and order.
These are gifts that come from above.
His gifts of pureness and love.

Words by: Joan Collister
Inspired by and adapted from: Acts 9: 3-5
Music by: Robert Collister

Saul journeyed to Damascus
To slay the followers of Christ,
To slay the followers of Christ.

Then a light shone around him
And he fell upon the earth.
He heard a voice say to him,
“Saul why persecute thou me?”
And he said, who are thou, Lord?
I am Jesus, arise.

Lord I am blind what shall I do?
Now, your name shall be Paul.
Go to my disciples
And they will heal you.

Then Paul preached Christ,
The son of God,
To all who came from far and near.
He roamed the world instructing anyone
With words that rang sincere;
For all to hear.

Chorus

Let there be light and there was light,
Paul the Truth that makes man free.
Let there be light and there was light,
Revealing a new reality.

Many tried to stop him.
In prison he was chained,
But angels came and freed him.
His mission was ordained.
Let There Be Light 2

He spread the word of Jesus
That still is heard today.
He gave the Truth that leads the way.
Watch, listen and obey.

Chorus

Let there be light and there was light
Paul taught the Truth that makes man free.
Let there be light and there was light,
Revealing a new reality.

Christ will lead us through the darkest night.
Let there be light.

Seven Synonyms for God
Music by: Robert Collister
Words: The seven synonyms for God can be found in
Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy

God is Mind, God is Soul, God is Spirit and Principle.
God is Life, God is Truth and God is Love.

With every step He leads each day.
In all we do He guides our way.
He is our Life and He is Love,
His precious gifts come from above.

God is Mind, God is Soul, God is Spirit and Principle.
God is Life, God is Truth and God is Love.

Turn all your thoughts to eternal Mind.
A greater peace we can not find.
Open your heart and you will see,
God’s loving care for you and me.

God is Mind, God is Soul, God is Spirit and Principle.
God is Life, God is Truth and God is Love.

Fear not oh little flock,
For He will show you the way.
