Thou shalt have no other gods before me, before me. This is the first commandment. This is God’s commandment, Let us heed it. Always put God first. That is freedom’s way. The idols of this world enslave. Do not bow to them. Do not turn to idols; do not bow to serve them. They will avail you nothing. For God is all you need if you turn wholeheartedly to Him. If you turn to Him with all your heart, then God is all you need. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, love thy neighbour as thyself. These words of truth said long ago are true today, are true for all; to love the Lord with all thy heart and love thy neighbor as thyself. If you will follow God’s commands and heed no other voice but His, then you?ll find peace within His love. You?ll feel His presence guiding you; His tender care will comfort you. And then you?ll know God is all you need.
