Kind Lord, give me a loving heart. Let me understand, And always have compassion; Let me understand, And always have compassion For my brothers, every man. And Lord, please fill the hearts of men With thy dear love and peace; And let there be no room for hate, Let angry passions cease. Kind Lord, give me a trusting heart. Help me to do Thy will, And from all sin be free; Help me to do Thy will, And from all sin be free, May I always follow Thee. This is my prayer for today, Today and every day. Kind Lord, give me a loving heart.
