The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliv’rance to the

captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. This day is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Lord, who hath believed our report, and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? He hath blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, that they should not see nor

understand, and be converted and be healed. He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on Him that sent me.
