Lyrics
How uplifted the heart trusting Thee, O Infinite God, When silenced becomes all mortal sense; Sorrow and sighing cease, and man finds rest. For Thou alone canst dispel the night, Thou, the light of all the earth. So now let us praise our eternal Creator, Mighty Lord, for no praise under the sun, or in the heav’ns, Lord God, no gratitude and no singing can praise Thee enough. O trees wave before Him, proclaim His glorious might! join in the song with thy beauty and might, thou vast and surging sea! Yet ne’er canst thou sing His praises enough, ne’er enough! God it is, God it is whom ye praise. Praise Him, all nations, and join the heav?nly host. Praise him, ye people, and swell the glorious song. Resound, ye suns, on your pathway of light; join in the heav?nly choir. The glorious splendor of all the heav’ns and earth ne’er can praise enough, praise God enough. God, God, God it is whom we praise.
