Have you been to the City of Light? No night of resistance is there.
This is God’s Holy City: the City built foursquare.
Its gates are always open to all who put God first.
Its center, the fountain of Life, is for all who are athirst.
The beauty and light of our City is Soul’s immortality,
The Source overflowing with peace and harmony.
Streets paved with inspiration reveal treasures beyond compare.
They lead to light eternal: God’s goodness everywhere.
Chorus: He who dwells in God’s secret place
Is guarded and guided and governed by grace.
This is our sacred, holy place:
The City built four square.
God’s Word, and Christ, His Son, the Comforter, Christianity,
These are sacred walls that protect you and me.
No thief can enter our City; no strong man can assail.
With a watch upon our City walls, we shall forever prevail.
So Mind and its idea, man, is the “City set on a hill”,
United in perfect being, at one in Principle.
O come to the light of the City. No shadow of darkness is there.
