Not as the world giveth give I you.
Let not your heart be sad, nor let it be afraid,
If ye loved me ye would now rejoice.”
“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”
This was our Master’s request for me and you.
If he forgave us, even on the cross,
We should be able to forgive all loss.
“Suffer the children to come unto me.”
This was our Master’s request to you and me.
If like a child we can receive the Word,
We shall then enter in the realm of God!
