A Word from Jenny ~

Duet singing is a captivating musical experience where two voices blend harmoniously and synchronize beautifully.
Along the way, I discovered that singing with others – whether in a choir or alongside another singer – is just as rewarding and fulfilling for me as singing solo. Matching another singer involves studying their vocals until you understand their every nuance, rhythm, and phrasing.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to sing with some of the industry’s most talented people, each with their own remarkable career achievements. Let me introduce you to these incredible singers!

A Word from Jenny’s Producer
I’ve always loved this quote from Critic, Bill Ervolino of The Record:
“If you can’t put aside a Thursday night to catch ‘The Jenny Burton Experience’ at midtown’s Don’t Tell Mama, you can always toss 10 sticks of dynamite into your tool shed and watch the roof take off for the stratosphere.”
That’s Jenny.

About Jenny Burton

Jenny Burton has had a long and varied career as a superb vocalist working successfully in Dance Music, R&B, Gospel and Inspirational Music.
In the late 80s and early 90s Burton had four national number one R&B/Dance hits — “One More Shot,” rose to Billboard’s number five slot and led to Burton’s first major-label solo deal. Atlantic Records released her first LP, “In Black & White,” which included the hit single, “I Remember What You Like”. “Bad Habits,” off her second album was a #1 dance hit in America and rose to #12 on the R&B charts. She has to her credits as well two gold records from films — Harry Belafonte’s Beat Street and White Nights starring Gregory Hines and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
Moving more into an Inspirational direction, she created with producer/composer Peter Link, The Jenny Burton Experience, an award winning Inspirational group ran for seven years to sold out standing room only audiences at New York City’s “Don’t Tell Mama”. The Jenny Burton Experience also opened at Trump Marina for Al Green, performed with The Gap Band and Morris Day and The Times at The Indianapolis Black Expo for 80,000 people, opened for Stevie Wonder at Lincoln Center in NYC, and completed a one month run headlining at Resorts International in Atlantic City, the first Gospel group to ever headline in Atlantic City.
Along the way she sang at the Gospel Music Awards in Nashville and performed in the Movie Guide Awards in Hollywood, played a recurring role on ABC Television’s soap opera All My Children.
Recently, Jenny joined the cast of Rosemary and Thyme, a Musical Podcast written and composed by Peter Link, which is now running in 135 countries around the world.
Jenny’s most recent release is her tour de force album, Something Old New Borrowed Blue with producer/composer Peter Link.
