Denise Eikum’s world is truly a harmonious one—nourished through fellowship, a tender devotion to God’s furry friends, and a poetic bond with the piano keys.
Music has been an unwavering positive force in her life. Since 1980, she has delighted in the opportunity to play organ/piano for First Church of Christ, Scientist in Maumee, Ohio. In 2020, she celebrated her ruby anniversary as the owner of Keyboard Connection Ltd., a private piano studio located in Swanton, Ohio.
As composer and arranger, Denise has faithfully expressed the time-honored words of Mary Baker Eddy with reverence. She is credited on the album, “Satisfied,” released by WFM recording artist Josh Henn.
With an unmistakable zeal for music education, she carries a B.M.E., M.M. in piano performance, and is recognized by the Music Teacher’s National Association as a Permanent Professional Certified Teacher. Serving in various offices, her memberships include Northwest District Ohio Music Teachers Association, Ohio Federation of Music Clubs, and Camerata Music Club.
Denise enjoys sharing her passion for music, often performing with students, friends and her husband Kevin. When not on the piano “seat,” her next favorite place is in the saddle “seat”—either in the show arena or trail riding.
