Helen Ingle Ezell (1903-1985) was a native of Oklahoma. She studied music at Oklahoma University, Columbia University, and Julliard. During a forty year career as a piano teacher, she composed and published over 100 pieces for piano as well as being active in many musical and educational associations including the National Guild of Piano Teachers. She is listed in American Women Composers and Royal Academy of London List.

Mrs. Ezell began studying Christian Science around 1930. She wrote numerous beautiful vocal solos using poems published in the Christian Science Sentinel. Informed by her formal classical training, her collection of highly original songs is a wonderful contribution to the traditional repertoire available to church soloists.

Mrs. Ezell’s music has been made available through the generosity of her daughter, Jane Ezell Price.
