Sondra began studying the piano at the age of 10. She minored in music at Whittier College. She subsequently studied performing Arts in private classes which led to teaching classes in Expression Exploration – music drama, dance and art – for the community’s children at the Phoenix Art Museum. She developed a program for the docents in applying the concepts in Expression Exploration.
She started writing music in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her first song, JOY JOY, was performed by the Sweet Adelines at the Frank Lloyd Wright Gammage Auditorium.
Studying music writing with Peter Link gave her a thrust of confidence to write ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE which was performed several times by Josh Henn at The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA.
“Seeking the Light in everything I do, write, and express is the golden illumination that enriches my life. Loving to illumine life with song led to creating solos to lift the lives of those whose hearts are longing for Light.”
