I Am With Thee

When the hard times of life have your back to the wall
And you’re not even sure where to stand.
You can drop all your worries,
And know there’s a power
Always ready to lend you a hand.

Whispering “I am with thee to strengthen your heart,
My love is unending each day.
I am with thee, I’ve taken your part
There’s nothing more you need to say.
I promise to show you the way.”

If you’re lost on the road, not sure where to turn,
And it seems that there’s no help in sight.
While you are still speaking, He answers your call,
And leads you to do what is right.

Singing, “I am with thee, just follow my lead,
I’ll show you where you need to be.
I am with thee, I’ll meet every need.
You’re mine, and I want you to see
The power of Truth sets you free.”

If it’s only you in the cold dark night
All alone and on the floor,
There’s still an ever-present light
To give you strength once more.

So, no matter how heavy your burdens appear
Overloaded with doubt and despair.
You can still feel the love that eliminates fear,
Embracing you, showing his care.
Wherever you are He is there.

Saying, “You are with Me, my daughters and sons,
Nothing can keep us apart.
I’m forever guiding you home
Writing My law in your heart.
Thus, has it been from the start.

Yes, you are with Me our being is one.
Thus, has it been from the start.”
