I love my God who brings me light

And tenderly brings healing.

In my heart there rests the hope

Of seeing His revealing:

Seeing the sinner whole,

Seeing the hungry fed,

Seeing the homeless safe,

Seeing the sick rise up from bed.



When the night seems ever long

With terror and confusion,

Quietly it calls to me, it calls to you:

“Bless you my child, lay down your burden,

Come, rest in hope, for I am Love!”
