Waitin’ for a sign
I’m standing in line.
I hope I go next
‘Cause I haven’t much time.

Waitin’ for peace,
Please don’t be a tease.
I can’t take much more,
Oh I need a release.

Seasons comin’ and goin’
The storm in my mind, is always blowin’.
I can’t stand not knowin’
When my turn will come.

The tears in my eyes keep overflowin’.

The tension is high
And I don’t know why
I can’t state my viewpoint
Without soundin’ snide.

The people don’t know
You’re takin’ them for a ride.
We both think we’re right.
But, who’ll be left to decide?
