In the morning I will listen for the stillness of Your voice,
And I know that You will give me all the grace and strength and poise
I will need throughout the day to face the world and all its noise,
as I listen in the morning for the stillness of Your voice.

If at midday I come to You with a hunger in my core,
I am certain You will feed me and I know that You will pour
Ample blessings all around me from Your never-ending store,
If I come to You at midday with a hunger in my core.

In the evening I will thank You for the allness of Your love,
And rest safe within the knowledge that it always is enough.
As I reflect upon the things that You have taught me of,
I will thank You in the evening for the allness of Your love.

And at midnight if I wake up in the darkness filled with fear,
You will find a way to show me that You are always here
With an army of Your angels ever ready, ever near,
If I wake up at midnight in the darkness filled with fear.

Then in the morning I will listen for the stillness of Your voice,

I will need throughout the day to face the world and all its noise,
