And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters
And God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light

Yet there was no beginning
For eternity has no beginning
No end
There was ever the always
And God said, “Let there be light.”
So there is light
There was always light
There will always be light

Only in matter
Are there beginnings and endings
Only in matter is time
But matter, we’re taught, is an illusion
And the same is now taught about time
All things temporal do not exist
They are only a reality to mortal mind

Only in matter
Are there beginnings and endings

And the same thing applies to mortal mind
It only exists in the confusion of time
And it plays no part in eternal Mind
It only began as illusion
And illusion is simply misapprehension
A misconception of mind

In the beginning, God
And in the end, God
And yet there is no end
There is only the always
Only eternal Mind
Only deathless Life
Only an infinite consciousness
Only the timeless creations of God
Only the ever-lasting
Only the hope of mankind

In the everlasting, God
In the eternal, God determines the Heaven and the Earth
As the Spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters
As God says, “Let there be light”
Then there is light
There is always light

No beginnings
Just God
Only ever and always
