Healing
Lyrics by C. Kardinal
If we would heal the sick, and cleanse the lepers, Cast out demons, and raise
the dead,
We must obey all of God’s laws and love one another as the Master said.
Healing begins in Spirit, hearing the still small voice from above
That says health and wholeness are God’s gifts, and we are safe in the arms
of His Love.
Thought is wakened by simple truths that touch the heart and soul.
So inspiration has its proof when Life and health unfold.
When thoughts acquaint themselves with God, man’s nature is transformed.
Then we understand what the Savior meant when He said we must be reborn.
If we would heal the sick, and cleanse the lepers, Cast out demons, and raise
the dead,
We must obey all of God’s laws and love one another as the Master said.
Healing begins in Spirit, knowing man’s nature is perfect, unflawed.
We turn our backs on mortal sense, we find Life is sustained by God.
We know that God is All-in-all, and we are “fearfully and wonderfully” made.
We’re wrapped in the blanket of God’s Love, so nothing can make us afraid.
When the spiritual way of seeing things is suddenly revealed
By effortless perfection, we see ourselves and others healed.
We look within for God-like qualities: like selflessness and purity;
Childlike trust and humility open the door to harmony.
If we would heal the sick, and cleanse the lepers, Cast out demons, and raise
the dead,
We must obey all of God’s laws and love one another as the Master said.
