Lyrics
Psalm 55 – Oh Had I the Wings of a Dove
Music By Daniel Burton
Oh had I the wings of a dove!
For then would I fly away, and then would I be at rest.
Lo, then would I wander far off, remain in the wilderness.
As for me, I call upon God; and the Lord will save me.
Evening and morning, also at noon,
I will pray and cry aloud: and he will hear my voice.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you.
Oh had I the wings of a dove,
For then I would fly away home.
