Herein is love, not that we love God. “We love Him because He first loved us.” “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” God gave us through Moses this first decree \n \n because He loves us; “for God is love.” God sent His son to save the world. Jesus is God’s only begotten son. His two commandments encompass the one. Love only God \n \n and thy fellow man. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Love one another, love the one God.
