Heavenly Guide [Out of Print]

I dreamed I wandered sadly through paths obscure, unknown, A troubled spirit, desolate, Seeking the way alone; Around me fell the darkness, No light of moon or stars; My hope was dead, my soul was chained Beyond Doubt’s prison bars. Then, through the gloom, I heard a voice, Bidding my fainting soul rejoice; “Peace, troubled heart,” I heard the Master say: “Hope, weary soul, though dark may be the way; Though the world deride thee, I am close beside thee, Love Divine shall guide thee to Everlasting Day.” Then, in my dream, the mists were rolled away; Dawn touched the hillside, darkness turned to day, God’s sun was shining, gone were doubt and fear; Then, like an echo, came the message clear, “Peace, troubled heart,” I heard the Master say: “Hope, weary soul, though dark may be the way; Though the world deride thee, I am close beside thee, Love Divine shall guide thee to Everlasting Day.”
