Why we did this

For nearly 20 years now we’ve shared free content to all our constituency often as promotion, but even more often as a way of saying “Thank You” to our customers. As our free content gets better and better, it tends to cost us more and more to create. A perfect example of this is our Rosemary and Thyme Podcast Musical. This past year’s Pilot and 15 episodes we looked at as our out-of-town tryout. Now we have reworked the areas of it that we thought needed improvement and are ready to put it out as a finished product. The production costs at this point are approaching $100,000.

We believe in this work. It’s had a great start. Last year we had over 12,000 downloads and it played to over 135 countries. We believe that one day this will make a great Television Mini-Series. If, and when that happens, we will then begin to make our investment back. Until then, we must continue to promote world-wide. At this point offering it as one of the leading products of our most cost-effective Theater Of The Imagination platform seems most promising for both customer and Watchfire Music.
