Overcoming It All

Dedicated to 2020, this piece exemplifies my response to extensive and persistent fear. I made it a daily commitment to stay mentally close to what I've discerned, however dimly over the decades: that a spiritual sense of Life exists and surpasses what our corporeal senses would have us believe. Rather than be despondent and frightened over the daily newscasts, I chose to focus on the reality of Life above and beyond the mere physical testimony. This confidence was demonstrated every day in small and big ways, and kept me free from lingering anger, resentment and more. A big blessing was the creation of "Overcoming It All". I hope that this piece, along with many others in this album, bring you overwhelming peace.
