My name is Goliath, I’m ten feet tall.
My armor’s strong, I will not fall.
Come out and fight. Choose your best man.
If he kills me, we’ll be your slaves.
If I kill him, you’ll be our slaves.
Today I’ll send you to your graves.

My name is David, I’m not afraid.
I’ll fight Goliath and win.
I killed a lion, I killed a bear.
I’ll do the same to him.
I trust the Lord every day.
He will not fail me, His power is great.
He’s standing here, and so I say–

The battle is the Lord’s, He’s already won.
He is my shield and tower. His work is done.
Let the whole world know, I fight in the name of Almighty God.

Am I a dog you can scare with sticks?
I’ll crush your bones and tear you to bits.

I curse your God, I curse you too.

Down by the river where David prayed
He picked up five smooth stones
David ran quickly to meet his foe.
He went into battle alone.
David struck Goliath with just one throw
He fell face down, into the ground.
A victory shout went all around
And when I pray, right here today, I hear God say:
