As the ocean receives the rivers,
So the rivers feed the ocean.
And God, the creator and giver
Has made the two essentially one.
Each is separate but not alone!

Where is the island
Not encircled by the ocean?
Or the ocean not rested on the land?
Each needs the other to lean upon!
We are many made as one!

As the ocean needs the river,
So I need you my brother
And sister, not for gold or silver,
But Love has so bound us to go on
Being one! Truly one!

Let the north and south congregate,
And the east and west amalgamate!
Difference of accents in many speeches
Swelled in one voice widely reaches
All, as we proclaim, we are one!
