How do you choose the 10 to 12 best sacred songs from a lifetime of work together – nearly 200 songs in 15 albums. You choose with your heart and with your consciousness regarding their ability to heal through both the music and lyrical content. However, the task was impossible. There is just too much to choose from. So, we stacked this album with 14 songs. But then there were still far too many left off, so we released another – Volume 2! None of these songs are second best. Julia Wade was blessed with a great instrument – her voice – but it is really her ability to get inside the lyric that takes her performances over the top. She was always a joy to write for, to orchestrate for, to support. We are both blessed and honored to serve the cause with our music!
