Back to WFM Broadcast License Overview
The WFM Broadcast License is designed to make it simple for your church or organization to include Watchfire Music in livestreamed, Zoom, recorded, and hybrid services or gatherings — without needing to manage permissions for each use. This approach keeps things straightforward while ensuring that the composers, arrangers, and performers behind the music are properly supported.
The WFM Broadcast License covers WFM music used in digitally transmitted services, testimony meetings, Association meetings, lectures, public talks, concerts, and other gatherings where WFM music is included.
Plans are based on your typical weekly use, giving you the flexibility to include music whenever needed while staying clearly and consistently covered.
Choose your plan in 2 steps:
- Select the weekly WFM Music Use plan that best reflects your typical usage.
- On the next page, choose your Audience Tier (Starter / Small / Growing / Mid-Size).
A Simple Note about occasional use:
Most churches and organizations find that even a few uses per year are simpler to cover under a single annual license rather than managing permissions each time.
The WFM Broadcast License is designed to keep things straightforward — so you can include music when needed without requesting permission or tracking each individual permission.
Important (please read):
- Music Use = one WFM work used in one digitally transmitted service, meeting, or gathering.
- Music Uses/Week = your total WFM music uses across all services in one week
- The license is designed to cover typical weekly use, even if your actual usage varies from week to week or at different times of year
- Audience Tier is based on online viewers only, not in-person attendance
- Recordings containing WFM music must be deleted within 8 days.
Hybrid services are covered under the Broadcast License, but Audience Tier is based only on the online audience, not in-person attendance.
