Jennifer Nubel

Jennifer Nubel presents poems by Mary Baker Eddy set to classical music from Bach to Bizet. Jennifer crafts these highly accessible solos using skills and insights gained from her years of experience as church organist, accompanist, and ensemble singer. The study tracks employ ‘realistic singer rubato’ for easy singing along.

April Brahinsky

April Brahinsky, a longtime pianist and teacher kicks off our Watchfire Music Church Music Series by providing recorded instrumental music for use in church.

Here are instrumentals to fulfill the needs of churches that desire to play recorded music for their Preludes, Offertories and Postludes. They are divided into three categories: Calm and Prayerful – perhaps just a perfect way to start your Sunday morning service, Joyful and Rousing – more energetic and perhaps better for a Postlude, and Energies of Soul – those that could go either way and also might be a great choice for your Offertory. We’ll let you decide.

Noah Marlowe

Noah Marlowe is a seasoned veteran of the Broadway stage, an actor of depth and is blessed with a singing voice that belies his age (which happens to be 14 years). Still in the process of finding his particular genre of musical styling he explores several traditions here ranging from Pop to Rock to Broadway and often finds an original mix of all three.

What’s special about Noah is that he is also an actor who connects with his lyric, and that makes his performances rich and most entertaining for people of all ages. You’ll find in Noah an artist working far beyond his years.

Zack Danziger

“As a musical artist, I love to gently chisel away at a song, turning it this way and that way, trying to get to the essence of all the pieces of music that are hiding within it. When each new insight becomes clear, the flash of that eureka moment makes all the hard work worthwhile.

But, inspiration is tricky. Sometimes she comes directly, other times she plays hide and seek. The challenge is to think and yet not think. Often when I am daydreaming, I find myself hearing and humming beautiful variations to musical problems. Quickly I scramble to write or record them, before they flutter away. This cat and mouse game keeps me ever vigilant for the “still small voice” that visits me when I am busy making other plans.” Zack Danziger

Adrienne Tindall

When I started serving as organist for the church, I had written a couple of solos, among other things. My soloist liked them and sang them for services; they were very well received. She started asking (every week, actually) if I’d written something new, so I continued composing solos, which led to publishing them.

DARCEY PRESS, my publishing company, now publishes sacred music compositions, keyboard and vocal, of over 40 contemporary composers, including sacred solos of many styles.

Terry J. Barham

Terry’s formative years were spent in small-town Oklahoma before moving on to study music at the Universities of Oklahoma and Illinois and to teach in suburban Chicago, LaCrosse WI, Tucson AZ, Emporia KS, and now Kansas City. He loves all types of music, especially classical. His favorite pastimes include reading, working with choirs, playing piano, and traveling.

Richie Abanes

The creative influences on Richie began when his mother introduced him at an early age to not only Broadway musicals, but also a wide variety singing celebrities from Hollywood’s golden era: Mario Lanza, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Danny Kaye. Then, when Richie began seeking out music for himself, he quickly identified with the easy listening sounds popularized in the ‛70s/’80s by Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel, and a variety of legendary bands/artists, some reaching back to the folk music of the ‛60s.

Richie’s vision for his songs (usually heartfelt ballads) is to touch the soul and help people connect with their deepest emotions, as well as with God―and by doing so. . . . heal their heart-wounds. In this way, Richie hopes to make the world a better place; one heart at a time.

Mary March is a singer/songwriter with who writes country-oriented songs with a rich rustic heritage that celebrates the beauty of prayer through song.
