Troubles Be Gone – How to get through it…
I had had a rough day. The things that were supposed to happen, didn’t happen. The things that never were supposed to happen, happened. It happens to all of us.
Yeah, life on planet Earth can be a roller coaster ride. I thought to myself, “Well, what do we do now“? How do we turn defeat into victory? Today, I’m going to introduce you to a surefire starter kit. It’s not a permanent solution, but it is, for most of us humans, a wondrous temporary solution. It requires little effort and is definitely fun and satisfying.
Recently I applied my solution and, as usual, it worked like a dream. It worked so well, that I decided to write a song about it.
Join me as I demonstrate that solution right before your very eyes!

A Scoop of Happiness: Ice Cream
Some days just don’t go your way. The things that were supposed to happen don’t, and the things that weren’t supposed to happen do. Life’s funny like that. But here’s the thing sometimes, the best way to deal with it isn’t to overthink, stress, or search for some deep solution. Sometimes, you just need ice cream.
That’s what this song is all about. Ice Cream is a fun, funky reminder to stop, take a breath, and enjoy life’s little pleasures. Written and produced by Peter Link, it’s packed with feel-good grooves, a brass section that lifts the spirit, and some of the finest voices around : Lajuan Carter, Audrey Wheeler, Jenny Burton, and Julia Wade, bringing sweet harmonies to the mix. It’s music that lets you hit the reset button, because sometimes, when life throws you curveballs, all you really need is a big spoon and a little joy. 🍨🎶

I had so much fun listening to this podcast! Peter Link builds the song Ice Cream from scratch and then plays the entire zany, fun track. Both the song Ice Cream and the real thing definitely put a smile on my face!
Thanks, Jenny! And it wasn’t even fattening!
Best ice cream cone I’ve enjoyed in a long time!
Thanks for listening and replying! From one ice cream lover to another …
That was fun to listen to. What a “delicious” composition and presentation. Yummy! 🙂
Now there’s a word that goes hand in hand with our subject! “Yummy!” How true, how true! Mmmmmm, yummy! Thanks for writing in, Osceola!
